Annual Zeman Mini-Marathon. Our Tradition Continues! Wednesday, May 22nd
For many years, Zeman has had a tradition of hosting a “Mini Marathon” for all students in grades K-5. This tradition has become an important event for our school and we are excited for the marathon to continue.
Students in Kindergarten will run one lap around the building/track. First and second grades will be running 2 laps around the school/track or one mile. Students in third, fourth and fifth grades may choose to run one or two miles. Parents are invited to share the run with their child, either by cheering or running with them.
**** All parents/guests will need to notify the school by filling in the Marathon Visitor and Volunteer Sign Up before May 21, that they will be attending. This will help speed up the check in process. All parents/guests will go to the check in table by the flag pole to receive a name tag. You will then be directed to the playground for the marathon. Early arrival is encouraged.

Schedule – (Times are approximate – races will begin when previous race is complete)
9:15 – 9:30 2nd Grade- 1 mile
9:30 – 9:45 Kindergarten- 1 lap
9:45 – 10:00 1st Grade- 1 mile
10:00 – 10:30 3rd, 4th & 5th Grades – 2 mile
10:30 – 10:45 3rd, 4th & 5th Grades – 1 mile
***PLEASE NOTE: Any parent who would like to run with their child is required to check in through the office for a name tag.
For the safety of our children NO PETS are allowed on Zeman property.
