Zeman Mini Marathon – Moved to Wednesday, May 22nd

The Zeman Mini-Marathon has been moved to Wednesday, May 22, 2019 due to the weather.

Annual Zeman Mini-Marathon.  Our Tradition Continues!  Wednesday, May 22nd

For many years, Zeman has had a tradition of hosting a “Mini Marathon” for all students in grades K-5. This tradition has become an important event for our school and we are excited for the marathon to continue.

Students in Kindergarten will run one lap around the building/track.  First and second grades will be running 2 laps around the school/track or one mile.  Students in third, fourth and fifth grades may choose to run one or two miles. Parents are invited to share the run with their child, either by cheering or running with them.

**** All parents/guests will need to notify the school’s office or their child’s classroom teacher before May 22, that they will be attending. This will help speed up the check in process. All parents/guests will enter Door #1 to check in and receive a name tag. You will then be directed to the playground for the marathon. Early arrival is encouraged.

Rain date is scheduled for Wednesday, May 22nd
